Safe to say 2012 has been a great year for Cloud Business. I’ve asked the team for their top moments; their highlights for the business, our clients and how innovative technology has changed business from enterprise to the sme for the better. I’ve also asked them for their predictions, tips and what you should be looking out for, so check out that post next! Our Highlights Office 365 - the product continued to get better with new features being added to SharePoint, recovery features in exchange and Lync can now integrate with 3rd party voice solutions. The price has remained competitive and even decreased over the year. Awards - Winner of Microsoft Office 365 partner of the year. We collected the award in Toronto, beating off top international competitors and feeling extremely proud. Cloud Business was recognised for being an early adopter of Microsoft technologies with an innovative vision. Launch of Windows 8 – tiles, apps and the surface! Cloud Education - Kings College and the University of Surrey are just two of our education customers who have embraced Office 365 for education and are now using free exchange, sharepoint and lync for students and staff. We assisted Kings college with the migration of 60,000+ users with ADFS and a complex environment. The Apprentice - Cloud Business embraced the apprenticeship scheme currently running in the UK and employed David B, who relocated to Guildford for the opportunity. He has become an expert on Office 365 and passed two Microsoft exams to prove it, an excellent achievement from a previously non-techy. Cloud in the news – We have appeared in the national press, FT.com and local news covering our Award win and the growth of our business.
